Accredit Person: means a person who has successfully completed a recognised training course
relating to work near overhead power lines that has been conducted by a registered training organisation
Approach Distance: means the minimum separation in air from an exposed overhead conductor that must be maintained by a person, or any object held by or in contact with that person.
High Voltage (HV): means a nominal voltage exceeding 1,000 V a.c. or exceeding 1,500 V d.c. (Figures IEC regulation, may vary from country to country)
Low Voltage (LV): means a nominal voltage exceeding 50 V a.c. or 120 V d.c. but not
exceeding 1000 V a.c. or 1500 V d.c. (Figures from IEC regulation, may vary from country to country)
